 Pyschodynamic Psychotherapy

This approach to psychotherapy aims to explore the roots of emotional suffering through self-reflection and self-examination and making feelings, thoughts and relationship patterns more conscious and available to work with therapeutically.

After a clinical assessment of the patient’s treatment needs, recommendations are made regarding the treatment which may include other referrals (e.g. for medication)  Psychotherapy  involves  weekly, 50-minute sessions, where patients are able to bring all thoughts, feelings, dreams, desires and struggles while the therapists uses empathic connection and attunement  to work towards understanding, insight and change that enriches  the patient’s life.
